Ginisang Sitaw (Sauteed String Beans)

Ingredients:

1 or more bundles String Beans
1/2 lbs.     Pork Belly ( cut into small cubes) / Ground Pork
1-2 tbsp   Minced Garlic
1 whole    Sliced Onion
1 whole    Sliced Tomatoe
2-3 tbsp   Soy Sauce 
1/4 c.        Water (optional)
1 tbsp       Bagoong (uncooked)
                 MSG (optional)
     
                 Oil
Directions:

1. Heat oil in a casserole pan.

2. Saute onion first, then add garlic the tomatoe.

3. Add cut string beans and simmer for 2 minutes.

4. Add soy sauce, msg and water if you like. simmer for another minute.

5. Add bagoong, mix and cover. Taste it. Turn off heat.

6.Serve with rice.

Grilled Veggies

(Quantity Varies)

1 lb. of each kind:

Zucchinni
Yellow Squash
Mushroom
Brocolli
Yellow Bell Pepper
Red Bell Pepper
Eggplant
etc.

Marinade:

Balsamic Vinegar  -  3 c.
Olive Oil               -  2 c.
Dried Thyme         -  enough to cover
Dried Rosemary    -  enough to cover
Dried Basil            -  enough to cover

Direction:

Prepare the grill.

Cut Long veggies into half. Split per half into four. Cut round veggies into half. Split per half into 6 or 8, resulting to wide strips. Mushroom can be grilled as is or cut into half.

Pour Balsamic vinegar and olive oil to the prepared veggies. Sprnikle the herbs and mix them till well blended.

Grill.
